A Pictorial Moth Quilt, Traditionally Pieced
By Lamplight is a moth quilt pattern inspired by summer evenings: the sun going down, chasing fireflies across the yard, and moths gathering around the front porch light.
The moth has detail in the wings and a fresh, slightly bohemian look, and every piece is traditionally pieced. No appliqué and no paper piecing.

Small Pieces, No Pins: Try Glue Piecing
By Lamplight has some small pieces, and the easiest way I’ve found to sew them accurately is with glue instead of pins. A few small dots of washable glue hold the fabric in place while you sew, so your points match and nothing shifts.
I made a step-by-step tutorial showing exactly how I do it: GLUE PIECING HERE
